Eivar (

Romanized as Eīvar) is a city in the Central District of Garmeh County, North Khorasan province, Iran
.

At the 2006 census, its population was 4,664 in 1,095 households, when it was a village in, and the capital of, Miyan Dasht Rural District[3] of the Central District of Jajarm County.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 3,783 people in 1,021 households,[5] by which time the village had been separated from the county in the establishment of Garmeh County[3] and Eivar was elevated to the status of a city. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 3,994 people in 1,171 households.[2]
