Communities

  • Copley was an unincorporated community in Ellsworth Township that developed around a sawmill. It had a post office from 1884 to 1890.[3]
  • Edgetts was a lumber settlement with a railroad station. It had a post office starting in 1902.[4]
  • Ellsworth is a community in Ellsworth Township. It was established in 1867. It had a post office from 1872 until 1876.[5]

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 35.4 square miles (92 km2), of which 35.2 square miles (91 km2) is land and 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2) (0.57%) is water.

The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 103.8 males.
