Gale Sherwood (born Jacqueline Nash;[note 1] March 4, 1929 – December 31, 2017[1]) was a Canadian singer and actress. She was best known as the singing partner of Nelson Eddy from 1953 until his death in 1967.

Career
Her film and television roles included juvenile roles as Betty in
Sherwood sang with Eddy on television and in his nightclub act from 1953 until his death in 1967.
Death
Sherwood died on New Year's Eve in 2017, at the age of 88, in Florida.[12] She was divorced from her first husband, Howard Wayne McCoy, Jr.,[citation needed] and was the widow of Charles Edward Francis.[13]
