He was born in

Tatler and Vanity Fair. His work was also part of the painting event in the art competition at the 1928 Summer Olympics.[1]

Belcher exhibited at the

Royal Academician (R.A.) 1946. His first one-man show was at the Leicester Galleries in 1909. He died at Chiddingfold, Surrey on 3 October 1947. A retrospective exhibition was held at Cranleigh
Hall in 1954.
