George Claydon (4 September 1933 – 4 October 2001) was a British actor notable for his
Oompa Loompas in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971), and as Hercules in I Don't Want to Be Born (1975). He was "World Cup Willie", the official mascot of the England Football Team in 1966.[1]
Death
Claydon died on 4 October 2001 at the age of 68, at Charing Cross Hospital.[citation needed]
