Guillermo Antonio Meijón Couselo (born 14 March 1958) is a Spanish teacher, writer, and politician, member of parliament for

Congress of Deputies during the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, and 14th
legislatures.

Biography

He studied at the Marist School Santa María in Ourense. After permanently returning with his family to Pontevedra, he began his studies in Philosophy and Educational Sciences at the UNED, where he obtained his degree.[1]

Since 1979, he worked professionally as a teacher and school counselor,[2] although he has been on leave of absence since 2005 under the Special Services Commission. As a member of FETE-UGT, he has held various positions and was a member of the leadership in Galicia.

He was a councillor in the

Congress, and re-elected in 2015, 2016, and 2019.[4]
