The Guyou Islands (65°3′S 63°24′W / 65.050°S 63.400°W / -65.050; -63.400) are a small group of islands lying 3 km (2 mi) northeast of

Gerlache (1897–99), and named for Emile Guyou (1843–1915), a French mathematician who prepared a report on the magnetic results of the expedition.[1]
