Rugby Union career
Amateur career
Bain has played for Currie in the Tennents Premiership.[2] He was enrolled in the Scottish Rugby Academy in 2015 as a Stage 1 player and moved to Stage 2 in 2016.
Bain spent two seasons at Stade Niçois from 2018 to 2020, through a partnership with Scottish Rugby.[3]
Professional career
As part of the Scottish Rugby Academy Bain was assigned to Edinburgh Rugby as a Stage 3 player in September 2017.[4]
Bain signed for Glasgow Warriors in July 2020.[3] He made his Glasgow Warriors debut in Round 3 of the 2020–21 Pro14 against Ospreys.[5] He is Glasgow Warrior No. 315.
He played for
He joined Jersey Reds in the summer of 2022.[6]
He joined Vannes in the summer of 2023.[7]
International career
Bain has played for Scotland U20s.[8] He has also represented the Scotland Club XV international side, playing against the U20 side.[9]
