Higginson is a second-class city[3][4] in White County, Arkansas, United States. Randall Homsley is the current mayor and was a volunteer police officer until[when?] the volunteer police force was disbanded.[5]

The average household size was 2.61 and the average family size was 3.06.
In the town, the population was spread out, with 25.4% under the age of 18, 11.1% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 27.0% from 45 to 64, and 7.7% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 101.4 males.

It is zoned to Searcy Public Schools,[9] which operates Searcy High School.
