Huanghuadian Town (

Shigezhuang Town to its south, as well as Matou and Luofa Towns to its west. In 2010, Its population was 24,100.[1]

The name Huanghuadian (Chinese: 黃花店; lit. 'Yellow Flowers Shop') is a corruption of Huanghoudian (Chinese: 皇后殿; lit. 'Queen Palace'), which refers to the palace in the area that served to imprison consorts who violated palace laws during the Liao Dynasty.[2]

Geography

Huanghuadian Town is mostly located on the southwestern bank of the Yongding River, at an altitude of 10 meters above the sea level.[3]
