The British television mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice premiered the second series on BBC One on 15 October 2022,[1][2] following a holiday special that aired on 24 December 2021.[3][4]

Gameplay

Format

Under the original format, the contestants can eliminate one or two mystery singers after each round. The game concludes with the last mystery singer standing which depends on the outcome of a duet performance with a guest artist.[5]

Rewards

If the singer is good, the contestants win £10,000; if the singer is bad, the same amount is given to the bad singer instead.

Rounds

Each episode presents the guest artist and contestants with six people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or remain in the end to perform the final duet.

  1. Lip Sync
Each mystery singer performs a lip sync to a song. Good singers mime to a recording of their own performance, while bad singers mime to a recording by someone else.
  2. Unlock my Life
The guest artist and contestant are presented with a video package in which one of the mystery singers discusses their life and musical qualifications.
  3. Home Truths
The guest artist and contestants "tour" one of the remaining mystery singer's homes for clues (which may include
    red herrings
    ) for 60 seconds.
  4. Interrogation
The guest artist and contestants must choose one mystery singer to question with. The host is given a list of 15 questions shown on the screen and the artist can ask any of 15 questions within the 30 second time limit.
