James F. Johnson

James Franklin Johnson (February 23, 1926 – November 25, 2000),

soul musician.[2]

Johnson was born in Fordyce, Arkansas,[2] the son of Golder Roland and Thomas Franklin Johnson.[3]

He was a performer and a composer, associated with the Magnum Records label and Mercedes publisher. His eponymous recording studio was located in

B.B. King, as well as "Every Day of Your Life", "Cold Cold Feeling", "Drowning on Dry Land" and "I Used To Be A Millionaire".[2][3][a]

He died on November 25, 2000, in Los Angeles, California.[2]
