    Biography

    Graham-Campbell was born on 7 February 1947. He was educated at

    Master of Arts (MA Cantab) degree.[3]

    From 1971 to 1973, Graham-Campbell was an

    emeritus professor.[3][4] From 2003 to 2012, he was Special Professor of Viking Studies at the University of Nottingham.[3]

    On 3 March 1977, Graham-Campbell was elected a

    Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London (FSA).[5] In 2001, he was elected a Fellow of the British Academy (FBA), United Kingdom's national academy for the humanities and the social sciences.[2]
