Joseph Daniel Patrick Maguire (born 18 January 1996) is an English former professional

left-back, for North West Counties League Premier Division club Bury. He has played in the English Football League for Fleetwood Town and Crawley Town
.

Career

Liverpool

Maguire was born in

On 8 January 2016, he was named in the Liverpool first-team as a substitute in an FA Cup third-round match away to Exeter City.[10] He was subsequently brought on in the 76th minute to make his Liverpool debut, with the match finishing a 2–2 draw.[11]

Fleetwood Town

Maguire signed for League One club Fleetwood Town on 13 January 2017 on a two-and-a-half-year contract.[12]

He joined League Two club Crawley Town on 31 August 2018 on loan until 1 January 2019.[13] On 3 January 2019, Maguire extended his loan until the end of the 2018–19 season.[14]

Accrington Stanley

Maguire signed for League One club Accrington Stanley on 15 July 2019 on a one-year contract with the option of a further year.[15] On 14 May 2021 Maguire was released.[16]

Tranmere Rovers

On 6 July 2021, Maguire joined

Tranmere Rovers on a one-year deal.[17] He was released by the club at the end of his contract.[18]

Maguire retired at the end of the 2022-2023 season and is now a painter and pilot.[19]

Bury

In March 2024, Maguire came out of retirement to join North West Counties Premier Division club Bury.[20]
