John Rutherford Everett (December 27, 1918 – January 21, 1992) was a college administrator. He was President of
New School for Social Research.[1]
Biography
Everett was born in
Park College, an MA in 1943 in economics from Columbia University, a BD in 1944 from Union Theological Seminary, and a PhD in 1945 in philosophy from Columbia University.[3][2]
In 1950 when he was 31 years of age Everett was elected President of
New School for Social Research.[4][5][6] He retired in 1982.[2] He died of pancreatic cancer in 1992 at 73 years of age.[2][3]
