José Leonel Silva (born December 19, 1973) is a Mexican former right-handed

Mexican League. He played all or part of six seasons in Major League Baseball with the Toronto Blue Jays in 1996, Pittsburgh Pirates from 1997 until 2001, and the Cincinnati Reds in 2002.[1]

Silva was drafted out of

Oklahoma RedHawks
, and has been playing in the Mexican League since then.

Silva became a pitching coach in the San Diego area.
