Kulsze

Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Banie Mazurskie, 16 km (10 mi) west of Gołdap, and 117 km (73 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn. It is located in the historic region of Masuria
.

History

The origins of the village date back to 1576, when Maciej Sapała bought land to establish a village.[2] For centuries, it remained an ethnically Polish village.[2]
