Lake Massawippi is a freshwater lake in
North Hatley, Quebec
on Massawippi's northern shore.
It is bordered by five municipalities: North Hatley,
Sainte-Catherine-de-Hatley
.
Massawippi is an Abenaki word that translates to "the big deep lake" in English.[2]
