Geography

Laurel Park is located at 36°41′23″N 79°47′27″W / 36.68972°N 79.79083°W / 36.68972; -79.79083 (36.689798, −79.790791).^[3]

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.3 square miles (3.3 km²), of which, 1.3 square miles (3.3 km²) of it is land and 0.78% is water. Laurel Park is not to be confused with the housing estate within the Laurel region of Henrico County, Virginia. Also, Henry County is not to be confused with Henrico County, also in Virginia. Henrico is a largely suburban county surrounding Richmond north of the James River.
