Lynne Olson (born August 19, 1949) is an American author, historian and journalist.

Baltimore Sun.[3] She has written several books on the history of the World War II era, which have received positive critical reviews.[4]

Awards and honors

In 2002 she won the Christopher Award for her book Freedom's Daughters: The Unsung Heroines of the Civil Rights Movement from 1830 to 1970.[2][5]
