Construction of Mandani Bay, a waterfront mixed-use development located in North Reclamation Area, Mandaue City, Cebu, Philippines, has been progressing steadily since its announcement in 2015. The project is being developed by HTLand, Inc., a joint venture between Hong Kong-based Hong Kong Land and Cebu-based Taft Properties. Groundwork for the development began in February 2014, when the property location was fenced. The first development within the property, the Mandani Bay Suites, was launched in 2016. Since then, significant strides have been made in the construction of various components of the project. As of May 2023,[3] Mandani Bay is in an advanced stage of construction. The development encompasses a sprawling 20-hectare area, transforming the waterfront into a vibrant lifestyle destination. With its prime location and stunning views, Mandani Bay aims to create a world-class living, working, and leisure environment. The construction progress of Mandani Bay can be observed through various updates and visuals. Recent photographs from May 28, 2023, show the ongoing construction activities, indicating the substantial development taking place in Mandaue City, Cebu Metro (see image). These images demonstrate the commitment of the developers to deliver a high-quality and visually appealing project. With an expected completion timeline of "10 to 15 years" from 2016, Mandani Bay is a long-term endeavor that will continue to evolve over time. Once fully completed, it is anticipated to become a landmark in the region, contributing to the growth and development of Mandaue City and the wider Cebu area.
