Mineola is in northern Mills County, 8 miles (13 km) north of
U.S. Census Bureau, the Mineola CDP has an area of 0.39 square miles (1.01 km2), all land.[1] It sits on the east side of the valley of Keg Creek, which flows south to the Missouri River southeast of Plattsmouth, Nebraska
