Mohamed al-Atifi (

Arabic: محمد ناصر العاطفي, romanizedMuḥammad Nāṣir al-ʻĀṭifī) is the Defence Minister of the Houthi government since 28 November 2016.[1]

Early life and education

Mohamed al-Atifi was born in 1969 in Al-Ahnum, then in

Amran Governorate. He entered the Military College in Aden
in 1986 and graduated with the rank of lieutenant in 1988.
