In 2023, Native Foods became Employee owned in their remaining locations: Chicago, IL (Dame Dia), Glendale, CO (Michael Olivas) and Palm Springs, CO (Misti Rausch and Sean Reynolds).
Native Foods was a
vegan restaurant chain that operates in California, Colorado[1] and Illinois.[2] The first Native Foods opened as "Native Foods Cafe" in 1994 in Palm Springs, California by Tanya Petrovna.[3] In 2009, the brand was acquired by Daniel Dolan and Andrea McGinty, who relocated the company to Chicago.[1]
