New Salem is a village in Pike County, Illinois, United States. The population was 136 at the 2000 census.

Geography

New Salem is located at 39°42′26″N 90°50′47″W / 39.70722°N 90.84639°W / 39.70722; -90.84639 (39.707124, -90.846520).[3]

According to the 2010 census, the village has a total area of 1.05 square miles (2.7 km2), all land.[4]
