Ambassador Nusura TIPERU is a Ugandan diplomat,politician with vast experience as a National and East African legislator. She served as the first National Female Youth Member of the Ugandan Parliament after the promulgation of the 1995 Constitution.
She later represented the women of Yumbe in the Parliament of Uganda and was insteumwntal in the process towards towards the pacification of Northern Uganda. She is an advocate of peace.
From 2007 to 2017, Ambassador Tiperu served two consecutive terms as one of the nine members representing Uganda in the 2nd and 3rd East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) in Arusha, Tanzania. She was elected to serve in that capacity in June 2012 for five years. She also served in the same capacity from June 2007 until June 2012, during the 2nd EALA Session.
Tiperu was first appointed as Uganda's Ambassador to Tanzania and diligently led to increased trade volumes** between Uganda and the United Republic of Tanzania. She was later on appiinted as the Uganda's Ambassador to Türkiye in December 2021.[1]
