Prim F. Escalona is the
United States attorney for the Northern District of Alabama since July 16, 2020.[1] Escalona previously served as a law clerk for William H. Pryor Jr. on the U.S. Court of Appeals and as Deputy Solicitor General in the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Alabama.[1]
Education
Escalona received a law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. She also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Birmingham-Southern College.[1]
Career
From 2008 to 2009 Escalona also served as a law clerk for
Maynard, Cooper & Gale. She later worked as an associate for that same firm from 2013 to 2017.[2] From 2011 to 2012 she served as the Deputy Solicitor General in the Office of the Attorney General of the State of Alabama. She was also a visiting assistant professor at the University of Alabama School of Law from 2012 to 2013.[1][3]
