Rachel Cruze (née Ramsey; born April 25, 1988) is an American author who specializes on the subject of personal finance.[2][3][4][5] Her book Smart Money Smart Kids, co-authored with her father, Dave Ramsey, reached number one on The New York Times Best Seller list in 2014.[6] Her second book Love Your Life, Not Theirs: 7 Money Habits for Living the Life You Want was published in 2016.[7][1]

Cruze was born and raised in

Evangelical Christian household. Cruze attended Brentwood High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from the University of Tennessee.[8]
