Sallie McAllister Curb Arnold (September 12, 1880 – April 23, 1982) was an American artist from Alabama.

She was born in Perry County, Alabama. Her father was a Confederate veteran from Brush Creek of that county.[2] Her family lived in Old Town in that county, both shortly before she was born in 1880 [3] and while she was a young woman in 1900.[4]

She married Herman Ross Arnold in 1907;[5] they had three children together. By 1910, the couple lived in Mayville, Kentucky[6] and by 1920 she returned to Greenville, Alabama in Butler County.[7]

She was artistically most active in Jacksonville, Alabama,[8] where she lived in the 1940s [9] and 1950s.[10]

She died in Annandale, Virginia in 1982 at the age of 101.[11]

Her work is included in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum[8] and the Birmingham Museum of Art.[12]
