Savita Prabhune (born 18 April 1955Indian soap opera Pavitra Rishta.[2][3] She had also played the main role in Jawai Vikat Ghene Aahe and Khulta Kali Khulena.
She has also replaced
Swabhiman - Shodh Astitvacha
as Suparna Purushottam Suryavanshi.
Career
Her father was a doctor at Wai, their native place in the district, Satara. Savita started her career by portraying small roles in
Hindi film
industry in the early 1990s.
She is an alumnus of
soap opera Kkusum, where she played the role of Aai (Kusum's Mother). The role fetched her critical acclaim for her portrayal.[4]
In 2009, Savita was again approached by
Boroplus Gold Award for Best Actress in Supporting Role (Critics) (Twice)[7] and other major awards.[8]
