- 23:1423:14, 18 May 2024 diff hist +9 John Bell Hood I deleted incorrect use of "attempted" as veto did occur and was recorded. Proper statement was made indicating the veto was overridden. Previous wording seems absent correct knowledge of the many "checks and balances" explicitly written in the US Constitution. A veto may be overridden by Congress with a new vote with the required percentage of support. There is no such thing as an "attempted" veto.
