  • 20:2920:29, 28 September 2023 diff hist +10,138 Albus DumbledoreThis was a big edit, but the section on Dumbledore's sexuality was a bit of a mess writing wise, and also some of the references needed to be checked and updated. More importantly, the section looks like it hadn't been touched since 2016, and thus didn't address the later accusations of queerbaiting or the progression of his depiction in this regard in the Fantastic Beasts film series. I'll make a note on the talk page because this may be a lot. Tags: nowiki added Visual edit
  • 16:1916:19, 28 September 2023 diff hist +94 Albus DumbledoreWhile considering a bigger edit I checked the original reference and discovered it doesn’t include the quote from Rowling in the text. Turns out they changed the article some time after publication to remove the quote and the link to where it came from. It actually originated from a ScreenCrush article covering their reporter asking questions at a press conference and that website’s article still contains the full quote today. I’m updating the reference so the Wikipedia article stays up to date. Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit

  • 16:2516:25, 19 August 2023 diff hist −20 Killing of Cecil the lionI noticed this paragraph spoke a lot more definitively about a “Cecil effect” that the section it is referring to is a lot more cautious to endorse. I wanted to rewrite it to address that a Cecil Effect is attributed to these events by some people which is notable enough for the introduction but I wanted to leave this more open since the section dedicated to it is more detailed and shows more than one perspective. We are still awaiting an official source such as the broadcaster or the official Twitter account. The Eurofun article may *eventually* prove accurate but it is a not a website that meets Wikipedia’s standards. Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit

I replaced this with neutral language, making sure these are listed as "allegations" and putting the Larry King interview into context. This is a BLP article so these must be written with care to not issue judgements ourselves. Tag: Visual edit

Also added reference to renewed media interest in the episode and it’s connections to the Spears allegations. Tags: Visual edit Mobile edit Mobile web edit
