Amann’s Index of Hygrothermy is an equation proposed by Jules Amann in 1929 used to quantify climatic variably.^[1]

This index aligns with other methods used to gauge '

bryophytes and lichen communities. ^[2]^[3]^[4]

Where:

P

= mean annual precipitation

T

= mean annual temperature

T_{h}

= mean temperature of the warmest month

$T_{c}$ = mean temperature of the coldest month [5]
