In response to the reviewers claim that the subject is non-notable and his comments that many of the references are links to YouTube or other unreliable sites of the such and the mentions on verifiable sources simply taken as a whole do not amount to sufficient notability:
In response to the reviewers claim that the subject appears to be “non-notable” and his comments that “many of the references are links to YouTube or other unreliable sites of the such and the mentions on verifiable sources simply taken as a whole do not amount to sufficient notability”:

There are only 2 YouTube references which are the 2 Noreen Khan interviews and 1 radio interview with Bobby Friction on BBC Asian Network uploaded on Sound Cloud. To clarify all 18 references are independent of the subject himself. There are only 2 YouTube video interview references, 1 Sound Cloud radio interview and 2 videos on BBC News. These sources have been used as convenience links to support the subject’s appearance on these programmes. There is also 2 references from the BBC website programmes section. All of these sources are reliable within the context they are being used.

In addition although the YouTube and Sound Cloud sources may be against WP:NOYT, they have only been used to verify factual personal information made by the subject about his family background and education. Also if they do not satisfy the requirements for WP:ABOUTSELF, at the very least these sources can also be used as convenience links to verify the subject’s appearance on this programmes.

The 2 articles from an international newspaper and a national newspaper referring to both the subject and his web series, which would alone surely support notability. 2 articles in local newspapers in passing reference to a comedy tour that the subject was involved in. 5 articles in local newspapers directly covering his own UK comedy tour. I failed to understand how the statement that “most of the sources are YouTube links or unreliable sources” has been made. As only 3 references appear to fall within this category and potentially fail WP:IRS (2 YouTube, 1 Sound Cloud). Also as the article is not primarily based on these sources as implied by the reviewers comments and as the subject is notable for his career not his personal life therefore these sources are irrelevant when determining notability.

The other comment that “mentions on verifiable sources simply taken as a whole do not amount to sufficient notability,” appears to refer to Sky News, Croydon Guardian, Watford Observer sources. However this comment was made ignoring the WP:GNG established on the verifiable sources, The Huffington Post and The Guardian, both of which provide the in-depth coverage of the subject required by GNG.

When this article was previously PROD/AfD it was a coatrack due to the lack of reliable sources and BLP issues. If another DRV/CSD was done consensus could be reached on this. Tanbircdq (talk) 00:00, 16 February 2013 (UTC).

The article about actor and comedian, Humza Arshad, was previously deleted for failing

The Huffington Post, Sky News, and BBC
, which have contributed to support notability.

In response to the reviewers claim that the subject appears to be “non-notable” and his comments that “many of the references are links to YouTube or other unreliable sites of the such and the mentions on verifiable sources simply taken as a whole do not amount to sufficient notability”:

There are only 2 YouTube references which are the 2 Noreen Khan interviews[1][2] and 1 radio interview with Bobby Friction on

Sound Cloud. However, these have only been used to simply support the subject’s appearances on BBC Asian Network and to support facts about his family background. There are 2 other references from the programmes section of the BBC website again used to also support the appearances the subject made on BBC Asian Network.[4][5]

There are 2 BBC News website references,[6][7] which include videos referring to the subject featuring and reporting for BBC News, again used to also support the subject’s appearance.

There are 2 articles from an international newspaper (

The Huffington Post[8]) and a national newspaper (The Guardian[9]) both about the subject and his web series, Diary of a Bad Man. On the Sky News article[10]
mention is made of the notability of his web series.

There are 2 local newspaper articles (

) about a comedy tour of Muslim comedians that the subject was involved in, where a mention is made of the subject.

The remaining 6 references are news articles (Mancunian Matters,[13] Ethnic Now,[14] The Asian Today,[15] Desi Xpress,[16] Wales Online,[17] and Asian Voice[18]) about his UK comedy tour.

To clarify all 18 references are independent of the subject himself. There are only 2 YouTube video interview references, 1 Sound Cloud radio interview and 2 videos on BBC News. These sources have been used as

convenience links
to support the subject’s appearance on these programmes. There is also 2 references from the BBC website programmes section. All of these sources are reliable within the context they are being used.

In addition although the YouTube and Sound Cloud sources may be against

WP:ABOUTSELF
, at the very least these sources can also be used as convenience links to verify the subject’s appearance on this programmes.

The 2 articles from an international newspaper and a national newspaper referring to both the subject and his web series, which would alone surely support

reliable
, and should be used to measure the subject’s notability.

I failed to understand how the statement that “most of the sources are YouTube links or unreliable sources” has been made. As only 3 references appear to fall within this category and potentially fail

WP:IRS
(2 YouTube, 1 Sound Cloud). Also as the article is not primarily based on these sources as implied by the reviewers comments and as the subject is notable for his career not his personal life, these sources are irrelevant when determining notability.

The other comment that “mentions on verifiable sources simply taken as a whole do not amount to sufficient notability,” appears to refer to Sky News, Croydon Guardian, Watford Observer sources. However this comment appears to ignore the

verifiable
sources, The Huffington Post and The Guardian, both of which provide the in-depth coverage of the subject required by GNG.
