In terms of Article I courts, as of November 16, 2017[update], the Senate has confirmed 3 judges nominated by Trump, all for the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. There are currently 6 nominations to Article I courts awaiting Senate action, including 2 for the United States Tax Court and 3 for the United States Court of Federal Claims and 1 for the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. Trump has not yet nominated anyone for appointment to the United States Court of Military Commission Review. Trump designated Susan G. Braden as chief judge of the Court of Federal Claims.
