The request to rename this article to Royal Gazette (Thailand) has been carried out. If the page title has consensus, be sure to close this discussion using {{ subst:RM bottom}} and remove the {{Requested move/dated|…}} tag, or replace it with the {{subst:Requested move/end |…}} tag.

• Comment: I don't remember what sources I based my assessment on back when I renamed the page in 2008, but I'm pretty sure that they pointed to Royal Thai Government Gazette being the current official title for the publication. Maybe there's a WP:COMMONNAME argument to be made otherwise, but it should be based on (academic) discussions about the publication itself rather than off-hand mentions by news sources. Also, ราชกิจจานุเบกษา as a common noun is the Royal Society's coined translation of government gazette. --Paul_012 (talk) 12:53, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  The name "Royal Gazette", which appears in the title of the agency responsible for publishing it (the Cabinet and Royal Gazette Publishing Office), means that the "Royal Gazette" is its official name, doesn't it? Moreover, the term coined by the Royal Society for "government gazette" (as a common noun) is actually "รัฐกิจจานุเบกษา". --Miwako Sato (talk) 15:34, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  In addition, speaking of academic publications, I've found a (considerable) number of academic articles referring to this gazette as the "Royal Gazette", such as this (page 1), this, this, this (page 364), this (page 4), etc. So, I think it could be established that the "Royal Gazette" is how it is commonly referred to. --Miwako Sato (talk) 15:42, 19 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
