Stanisław Chomętowski (1673August II the Strong.[3]
Born to a non-notable
Masovian Voivodship,[6] one of the most populous and rich lands of the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth
.
In 1712 he was dispatched as ambassador to Turkey to negotiate the return of Swedish king
Field Crown Hetman
and held that post until his death in 1728.
