| Στρυμονικός Κόλπος ( Chalcidice peninsula and south of the Serres regional unit. It was formerly known as the Gulf of Rendina, in reference to the ancient colony of Eion along the gulf's shores.
The river Struma/Strymon empties into the gulf.
