Why Are People Deleting The New Maps?

There is clearly a completely ridiculous edit war going on about the state of the maps. For some reason, extremely stubborn editors are undoing the new maps because...reason. It makes ZERO sense. The newer style of maps are clearly better. Our mission as Wikipedia editors should be to continuously make this site better.

Being stubborn and refusing to let someone create new maps is just wrong. Maybe you should go see what Wikipedia election pages looked like back in the 2000s. They were a joke, and I don't think anybody would think it logical to revert the election pages back to the old days. Things change. Get onboard.

Most importantly, y'all should settle the debate in this talk page. Trajan1 (talk) 06:35, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I agree fully on keeping the new map. I think it is rather silly to keep reverting changes to maps when the new style is superior visually and has clearly been adopted on pages for more modern elections. Things change and that is okay, Wikipedia is supposed to be an ever growing and changing source of the best information available, this includes for info graphics such as maps and other such things on election pages like this. I agree, the new maps provide better information, in a better way than the old ones, and are generally of a higher visual quality, and are well made and well sourced Hthompson2000 (talk) 16:11, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
