Peer review

Csisc has kindly responded to my request for a Peer Review, and his suggestions can be found at review archive 1. I have summarised these as follows:

  • more information on the travelling both teams had to do, where they stayed, the expense incurred; also information on their preparations for the games, training, etc
  • supporters; any information regarding the fans who travelled to the other side of the world to see their team play, how they travelled to get there, costs involved; how they behaved at the games, songs/chants
  • team strips - were there "one off" strips specifically for the Intercontinental Cup games?
  • footballs - any information on the type of footballs used?
  • organisation of Intercontinental Cup; more info on the rules; any info on choice of referees (I know Celtic requested a change of referee for the third game - that of course didn't turn out too well!); why was Uruguay selected as venue for play off (other than just being "neutral"); ticket prices
  • more information on the dressing room invasion by Racing Club fans and the fighting between fans outside the stadium

I myself am unable at the moment to address any of these points in any more detail than is already in the article, but will do so if I come across the relevant information at a later date. Anyone else, however, is more than welcome to help! :) ShugSty (talk) 12:18, 22 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality?

Pretty much every citation on the article appears to be written either from a Scottish point of view or from Celtic fan sources altogether, giving the article quite an unbalanced perspective (i.e., it would seem the Argentines were "the baddies" in this story). Could this perhaps be reviewed and rewritten to bring attention to both perspectives? 77.57.42.68 (talk) 14:58, 11 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
