2004 Morocco earthquake → 2004 Al Hoceima earthquake – An article was created for the event at the "Al Hoceima" title on February 25, 2010 by Zoro arifi and was redirected to the current 2004 Morocco title, which had been created (May 18, 2008‎) by De Administrando Imperio
several years earlier. The Al Hoceima title refers to the city in Morocco that was affected the most by the event. In many cases (for earthquake articles) the city name is preferable over the country name, and we have three recently-added sources that refer to the earthquake by that name.

  • Support The proposed name seems to be widely used, and earthquake names are usually more specific that just a country.

Just acknowledging that what I posted a little while ago has several errors. I will have another go at the material and possibly continue with adding more material over the long holiday weekend. Dawnseeker2000 04:03, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
