Internal pages: Something like: [2][3]). Such pages are not fluff, but can be good places to find recruits for the project, possibly including subject-matter experts, especially if cross-referenced to the project. Also, Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Cue sports (cf. [4][5][6]).
Create timelines, both textual and graphical. See link for various guidelines and examples. We need an overall one for cue sports generally, and more specific ones as we drill down into more specific topics (timeline of nine-ball, timeline of Willie Mosconi's career, etc.).
needs section on cue sports; could later form a new article with "Main article..." xref to it. What other general articles need cue sports sections?

"Stephen Maguire by nine frames to six (9–6)" 'by' can be taken out, and you can probably limit it to either spelling out the score or just keeping the numbers, both probably isn't needed.
"governing body the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA) decided" add commas after body and the parenthesis
"and again this year" 'and again in 2004', as people might interpret that as 2010 incorrectly.
"1997 world champion Ken Doherty, who was ranked seven but had slipped to fifteen in the provisional rankings," seventh/fifteenth; double check and make sure any uses like that are fixed.
"and said the loss at the Grand Prix had not inspired him to play better here." uh, I'm pretty sure the not should be removed; it doesn't make sense this way.
"and had slipped to eight in the provisional rankings" as above
The templates at the bottom of the page are redlinks; not sure if there's a typo or if they even exist.
I'll put the article on hold and pass when the issues are fixed. WizardmanOperation Big Bear 17:03, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the review. I've read through the article and I think I've fixed all the issues. I removed the first paragraph in the Review section (which contained some of the errors) because it was about the British Open in general. I left the nine frames by six in the first mention of scorelines and without 9-6 in brackets, and used the shorter version thereafter. The bit about Hendry was correct, but I've clarified that bit. The templates are there on purpose, because they need to be created. I'll get round to doing that if I have time. Christopher Connor (talk) 23:12, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
