Infobox

Can a military conflict infobox be psoted here? bearing in mind conflicts dont have to be physical and involve casualties, this was still a conflict. (as was the Andean crisis)Lihaas (talk) 13:45, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think the clue's in the name, Lihaas! diplomatic crisis. Rd232 talk 14:45, 23 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Its easier navigation, and we dotn have an infobox otherwise. Its still a conflict just because we at wikipedia called it that.(Lihaas (talk) 20:37, 24 September 2010 (UTC)).[reply]
We don't have to have an infobox. Infoboxes can create definitional problems, and we can easily avoid them by not having them when there's no pressing need. What navigation would be available in the infobox that isn't available in the article? Anyway, if we were going to have an infobox, it should be one specific to diplomatic crises, which doesn't currently exist. Rd232 talk 14:09, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
For easy, quick review.(Lihaas (talk) 17:32, 28 September 2010 (UTC)).[reply]
That's not really answering the question. The lead is supposed to perform the "quick review" function. I don't understand what you want to have in the infobox that is going to both valuable and not disputable. Rd232 talk 18:13, 28 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Junior390 added a full intro section to the article. This section goes into detail regarding the relationship history between Venezuela and Colombia, and gives more background surrounding how things got to the point they got to during the 2010 diplomatic crisis.

Junior390 also added further details in the Reconciliation section, highlighting the role of Hugo Chavez and commenting on the fact that while there was "reconciliation", a lot of details remained unknown. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Junior390 (talkcontribs) 00:19, 28 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
