Team time trial + more changes

The team time trial will return in the 2012 world championships. It will be contested by trade teams, and not by nations (the thinking behind is that it used to be such a non-event because it involved riders needing close teamwork with "teammates" with whom they had hardly ever ridden). It will also include "junior" events (I presume U19, but I'm not sure) and a mass participation

I forgot about this, thanks for the reminder! I've added but feel free to make it better :) SeveroTC 12:37, 13 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Am I missing something (junior events)

The current article says following: "The Junior championships also reappear on the programme. These were last held as part of the main championships in 2004 and since then have been held as a separate championships". Am I the only one who's bothered by that? The junior world championships were part of the main event in Copenhagen/Rudersdal. I was about to remove those two sentences, but I'd like to know if there's a technicality that would make me wrong first. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.211.216.184 (talk) 10:19, 11 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Medals table

Is there a source for the medals table? I've been trying to find one anywhere (UCI site, organisers site, third party sites) but no medal table. Normally this kind of thing wouldn't bother me too much but there's an issue as to whether the teams' medals count towards any medal table - if they have been awarded to the country of team registration (which we all know doesn't confer nationality and that trade teams do not represent nations). So, if we have no source, it would be original research and would have to go. But I ask here as I would prefer to keep it if it can be sourced. SeveroTC 22:14, 20 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The medal table at Cyclingnews doesn't include the TTT: is there any other source which does? Or are we still left with nothing for it? SeveroTC 21:49, 25 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
The Cyclingnews medal table is an interesting one. Normally medal tables are sorted by number of gold medals, not number of medals. --Pirker (talk) 11:13, 26 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
