This article is written in Nigerian English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, realize, travelled, centre) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

As I said earlier Biafra doesn't exist, it was the name of the breakaway state that existed in the Niger Delta which is the real and official name of the region and is used by Nigerian governments well as internationally. The only ones I've seen calling it Biafra is the Niger Delta separatists. Besides what do you mean there are many ethnicities beyond the main ones? I didn't move it because of any ethnicities.
