Guinea through

I believe Guinea is through as DRC as well as Kenya/Senegal will finish below them in 3rd place. Can someone update this? 77.248.218.163 (talk) 20:59, 30 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Team Rankings

Team rankings should exist in the article like all previous CAF AFCON articles, even if we change the title to "Team Statistics" instead of "Rankings" if we can't find an official source online! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.83.201.74 (talk) 22:33, 10 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

First: new sections belong at the end of the page, not the beginning.
Second: why should they exist? Explain please.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 08:34, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
No they should not exist if we can't find an official source online. They should be removed from previous articles. This is not a blog, unsourced information does not belong here. TonyStarks (talk) 13:14, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't need other sources, the sources are the results from the matches. It is a matter of scores computed based on statistics from the tournament. Previous editions had sources from CAF for the rankings, but some are now broken links. We should find live sources still for this tournament. Finally, people come to Wikipedia for reliable information and summaries, and a table with ranked stats for the teams is a good summary of information for getting a glimpse of the "comparative performance" of all the teams from a single table. This table should be kept in please! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.83.201.74 (talk) 19:18, 11 July 2019 (UTC) [reply]
Of course it need a source from CAF that CAF ranks teams, otherwise it is original research.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 10:12, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It is very interesting that you know for what people come to wikipedia, that means you can read brains or you did a survey! I would like to have a source for one of the two things. The point is: YOU come to WP for table with ranked teams and you can't speak for anybody else.--Anaxagoras13 (talk) 10:54, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Fair point sir, but please keep the environment welcoming for everyone who would like to contribute with constructive additions. Please refrain from any kind of disrespectful sarcasm towards colleagues on WP, no matter how experienced you are here, try to help and guide others, like you've correctly done in the first reply!
It should be noted here, that the contributors to this article should try their best to find a source for team rankings based on match performances. Maybe it will be published by CAF or another reliable source AFTER the tournament is complete, so keep watching out for that. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.83.201.74 (talk) 20:39, 14 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
