I’m 99.9% sure this tournament was called the “Sydney Tennis Classic”, as I was there and all advertising and stadium announcers called it that. The Sydney International has not been held this year. The Sydney Tennis Classic was a one off tournament introduced this year if your wondering why there is no previous record of it. At first I assumed that the Sydney International was its official name but no mention of Sydney Tennis Classic is on the page and you’d think if that was a well used nick-name that even stadium announcers used, it would be on the article.

I'm wondering why this page and all of the categories were changed from the Sydney International to the Sydney Tennis Classic. It doesn't seem like there was any discussion about this title change and the previous years were called the Sydney International. Nowhere in the article does it mention changing its name and the template still says Sydney International. Liz ^{Read! Talk!} 20:28, 24 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
