this really should have a photo of lennon taken when he was living at this address. Kingturtle 22:32 Apr 26, 2003 (UTC)
Merger
I don't agree that this should be merged with John Lennon. Many people are interested in visiting heritage properties who might not look at his page to find it. As there is no sign of debate or a consensus on the merge request I have removed it and will check there is a link on the John Lennon page.Philip 16:11, 1 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Little mistake, I think
I think it can't be said that John remained at Mendips until mid-1963, because he moved in 1960 to 3 Gambier Terrace where he lived with Stuart Sutcliffe (you can see it mentioned also here: [[1]]) He left Gambier Terrace for Hamburg later that year, and I'm not sure whether he lived in Mendips again or not when he came back to Liverpool in December, but anyway the sentence as it shows is wrong, I think. A external reference to Lennon moving to Gambier Terrace can be found, for instance, in this book: http://www.amazon.com/The-Beatles-Liverpool-Complete-Guide/dp/0951170376 . I actually own a copy of the book, so I could mention the precise page if necessary, but I don't know how to put the reference myself. Sorry!
