Freeform WW v. ABC Family WW

per Califorina business search as of 1/13/2016, ABC Family Worldwide, Inc (Entity Number: C1991622) is still its legal name.. Spshu (talk) 00:04, 14 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Freeform Worldwide Inc. → ABC Family Worldwide Inc. – This page has been moved from ABC Family Worldwide Inc. to Freeform Worldwide Inc. when the TV channel ABC Family was rebranded as Freeform. However, there are no sources given that also the company that operates the TV channel was renamed, and the California Secretary of State Business search confirms this. Comment - Actually, I believe Ascheim is the President of the network (Freeform), NOT its parent company (ABCFWW). 76.235.248.47 (talk) 11:34, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Strong support - There is NO proof, NO evidence whatsoever, that has been put forth showing that ABCFWW, Inc. has been re-named to reflect its flagship subsidiary (Freeform)'s re-branding. Even though the network has been re-branded, its parent company has NOT. So, until someone can show that ABCFWW has indeed been re-branded to Freeform Worldwide, the article pagename should be reverted back to ABCFWW, Inc. 76.235.248.47 (talk) 03:48, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

some of the assets may have been owned by Disney before the merger

some of the assets which have been owned by Marvel had been owned by Disney long before the merger because 10 years before the merger Disney acquired the assets of Marvel but Fox still owned some of the assets like the Fantastic Four and X-Men 2603:6000:D000:2:75B3:7874:D869:2006 (talk) 02:16, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rebrand to Freeform Group

Because ABC Family changed their name to Freeform, "ABC Family Worldwide" should stay as "Freeform Group". FlapjackRulez (talk) 18:26, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
