More is needed on the cult of Thecla and other references- but his hopefully is an acceptable start. This is my first attempt at a stub - so I'd appreciate critical comments.--

NPOV issues

The line "Although probably consciously unhistorical, and certainly overstated, the tale reflects ascetic tendencies, and the experience of persecution in early Christianity," demonstrates a point of view and lacks sources to back it up.
